Patrick CAUDY DOB Abt 1840 (Clonmel, Ireland) m Roselia Dowty DOB Abt 1860 (Portsmouth, Gosport) September 1881 in the County of Alverstoke, Hampshire.The free BMD entry has a transcription error and is here.
Patrick joined the British Army in Clonmel and after 20yrs service retired to Wales marrying Roselia. They set up home in the Tondu area and later moved to Aberkenfig.
I have added this image in. It was given to me by Aunty Joan of who she seemd to think was Patrick Caudy

Margaret Caudy (nee Hillier) was my aunt but unfortunately never met her. Met Margaret and Joan, remember being on Holiday with Joan at our other Aunt Janey in March Cambridgeshire. Met Margaret in the early 1950s at her home in Rochford near Southend and at our Aunt Annes Funeral in the 1970s.
